These terms and conditions apply to every order placed with Hofstee Home & Garden, online or in a store. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms.
1. Who we are
Hofstee Home & Garden, Marktplein 4, 1234 AB Molenbrug, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 00000000. Contact details are on the Contact page.
2. Offer and prices
All prices are in euros and include VAT. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout. Hofstee Home & Garden may correct obvious mistakes in prices or product descriptions. If a mistake affects an order that has already been placed, the customer may cancel the order free of charge.
3. The agreement
The agreement is made when the customer receives the order confirmation by email. Hofstee Home & Garden may refuse an order for a good reason, such as a suspicion of fraud, and informs the customer within 1 business day.
4. Payment
The customer pays at checkout with one of the payment methods offered. An order is shipped after the payment has been received.
5. Delivery
Hofstee Home & Garden ships orders within the times stated on the Delivery page. These times are a target, not a strict deadline. If delivery takes more than 30 days, the customer may cancel the order and receives a full refund.
The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when the product is delivered.
6. Right of withdrawal
The customer may withdraw from the purchase within 30 days after delivery, without giving a reason. The procedure and the exceptions are described on the Returns page. Hofstee Home & Garden refunds the purchase price, including the original delivery costs, within 14 days after receiving the withdrawal, but may wait until the product has been received back.
7. Warranty
Products meet the agreement and the specifications in the product description. The customer has the rights of the legal guarantee. Some brands offer an extra manufacturer’s warranty, described on the Warranty page. This does not limit the customer’s legal rights.
8. Liability
Hofstee Home & Garden is not liable for damage caused by using a product in a way that does not match its purpose or its instructions. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned, except in case of intent or gross negligence.
9. Complaints
Complaints can be submitted through the contact form. Hofstee Home & Garden confirms receipt within 1 business day and answers within 14 days. If the customer and Hofstee Home & Garden cannot agree, the customer may turn to the relevant dispute committee.
10. Personal data
Hofstee Home & Garden handles personal data as described in the Privacy statement.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where Hofstee Home & Garden is established.
