Hofstee Home & Garden processes the following data when the customer places an order or creates an account:
- name, address, postal code and town,
- email address and phone number,
- order history, returns and warranty requests,
- payment details, as far as needed to process the payment.
When the customer subscribes to the newsletter, Hofstee Home & Garden processes the email address and, if given, the first name.
Why
The data is used to process and deliver orders, handle returns and warranty requests, answer questions, send the newsletter to subscribers, and meet legal obligations such as keeping accounts.

Who receives the data
To deliver an order, the name, address and phone number are shared with the delivery service. Payments are handled by a payment service, which receives only what it needs for the payment. These parties may use the data only for that purpose, under an agreement with Hofstee Home & Garden.
How long
- Order and invoice data: 7 years, as required by tax law.
- Account data: as long as the account exists, and up to 2 years after the last order.
- Newsletter: until the customer unsubscribes.
- Questions through the contact form: up to 1 year after the question is closed.

Rights of the customer
