Description
The Torenvalk sports watch measures what you do, so you can see your progress.
On the back of the watch is an optical heart rate sensor. It shines a small light into the skin of your wrist and reads your pulse from the changes in your blood flow. You don’t need a chest strap. Wear the watch a finger’s width above your wrist bone, snug but not tight, for the best reading.
The watch has GPS. During a run or a ride, it records your route. At the end, you see the map, your distance and your pace per kilometer. During the run, you can check your pace at any moment and slow down or speed up.
Training by heart rate helps you avoid going too hard. Many runners run their easy runs too fast. The watch shows you when you are in an easy zone and when you are pushing.
With daily use, the battery lasts seven days. With GPS on, it lasts twelve hours: enough for many long runs or rides before you need to charge it.
The strap is soft and dries quickly after sweat.
A good match for the running belt with bottle.
