Description
The Brammels milk frother turns cold milk into foam in about ninety seconds. You pour milk into the jug, close the lid and press the button. That is all.
The whisk is held in place by a magnet in the base. It spins smoothly and quietly, and there is no motor in the jug itself. That is why you can lift the jug off the base and pour directly into a cup.
There are three settings:
– firm, hot foam for a cappuccino,
– light, hot foam for a latte or hot chocolate,
– cold foam for iced coffee in summer.
The jug holds 240 ml of milk for heating, or about 120 ml for foam, because foam needs room to grow. Two marks inside show the maximum for each.
Whole milk gives the creamiest foam. Plant-based drinks work too, though the foam is lighter. Choose a barista version for the best result.
The inside has a nonstick coating, so milk doesn’t burn onto the bottom. A rinse under the tap is enough. Don’t put the jug in the dishwasher.
A good match for the cappuccino cups, set of 6.
