Description
The Hoogmaat cordless drill runs on 18 volt. That gives enough power to drill into wood, metal and soft stone, and to drive long screws into a beam.
The torque setting is the ring behind the chuck. It has eighteen settings. At a low setting, the drill stops turning as soon as the screw is in, so you don’t drive it too deep into soft drywall. At a high setting, it keeps going into hard wood. The drill setting has no limit, for making holes.
The drill comes with two batteries of 2.0 Ah. While you work with one, the other charges. You can keep going all day without waiting.
The chuck is keyless. Turn it by hand to open it, put in a drill bit, and turn it tight. It holds bits from 1 to 13 millimeters. You don’t need a chuck key, which often gets lost.
Everything comes in a hard case: the drill, two batteries and the charger.
A tip for drilling tiles: start at a low speed and put a piece of tape on the tile so the bit doesn’t slide.
The drill and bit set, 100 pieces, fits in the case.
