This dome tent is made for two people on a weekend away, a bike tour or a festival.
The flysheet is waterproof up to 3000 millimeters of water column. That handles a long night of steady rain. The seams are taped. Read our blog on water column to understand what the number means.
Setting up is quick. There are two poles with color codes that match the sleeves on the tent. Slide them in, bend them into the corners, and the tent stands. Then add the pegs and guy lines. The first time, it takes about ten minutes. After that, less.
The inner tent fits two adults with their sleeping bags. At the front is a small porch, under the flysheet but outside the inner tent. Keep your shoes, backpacks and wet gear there, dry and out of the way.
Mesh panels in the inner tent let air through. That reduces condensation on the inside of the tent. The mesh keeps out mosquitoes.
The tent weighs 2.6 kilos. Pegs, guy lines and a carrying bag are included.
Always let the tent dry fully at home before you store it. A damp tent gets mold.
