Description
Giant bubbles make children and adults stop and stare. This set lets you make them yourself.
The set has two liters of bubble solution and a large wand with a fabric loop. Pour some solution into a tray, dip the loop, and lift it out.
The trick is to move slowly. Walk backward or move your arms in a calm, wide movement. The air fills the loop and a long bubble forms. Close the loop by bringing the two sticks together, and the bubble floats away. With practice, you make bubbles of more than a meter long.
The solution is thicker than normal bubble mix. Thicker solution forms a stronger film, so the bubbles last longer and don’t pop at once.
When the solution runs out, you can make more. Mix water with dish soap and a little sugar or glycerin. Let it rest for a few hours before you use it.
Bubbles work best on a calm, slightly damp day, in the shade. Wind and dry heat make them pop faster.
From 4 years. Younger children love to chase the bubbles.
More summer fun: the water pistol 600 ml.
