Description
The Torenvalk vacuum flask has two steel walls with a vacuum between them. Heat can’t travel through a vacuum. That is why coffee stays hot for twelve hours and iced tea stays cold for twenty-four hours.
You pour with one hand. Press the button on the lid, tilt the flask, and the coffee flows. Let go of the button and the flask is closed again. You don’t need to unscrew anything, which is handy when you hold a cup in your other hand.
For cleaning, the lid comes apart into two parts. Rinse them under the tap. The inside of the flask is stainless steel. It doesn’t take on smells or flavors, so coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon don’t mix.
A tip for the longest warmth: fill the flask with hot water first, wait five minutes, pour it out, and then fill it with coffee. The steel is then already warm and doesn’t take heat from your drink.
One liter fills about six cups. The flask stands steady on a table and fits in most bags.
