Description
Learning to ride a bike has two parts: balance and pedaling. Pedaling is easy. Balance is the hard part. A balance bike teaches balance first.
The bike has no pedals. A child sits on the saddle, puts their feet on the ground, and walks the bike forward. Soon they push off harder, lift their feet, and glide. That is balance. Most children learn it within a few weeks.
Many children who start on a balance bike move to a normal bike without ever using training wheels. They already know how to balance, so they only need to learn to pedal.
The frame is steel, strong enough for years of play. The saddle is padded and adjusts from 30 to 40 centimeters. Set it so your child can sit with both feet flat on the ground and knees slightly bent.
The tires are filled with air. They roll smoothly on paths, grass and gravel and soften bumps.
The handlebar has soft grips with wide ends that protect small hands.
Choose red, blue or mint green.
For ages 2 to 5 years. Always use a helmet.
