Description
A rain jacket is the best protection for daily use. A poncho is the best protection for the unexpected. It weighs almost nothing, folds into a pouch, and covers more than a jacket.
The poncho is cut wide. It covers your body down to the knees and has room for a backpack underneath. Your bag stays dry along with you.
Put it on over your head in a few seconds. On the sides are press studs. Close them, and the poncho forms loose sleeves that keep your arms dry and stop it from flapping in the wind.
The hood has a stiff peak to keep rain off your face, and a drawcord to close it around your face.
The fabric is coated polyester. It is waterproof and light.
When the rain stops, shake it out and fold it into its pouch. The pouch is about the size of a large apple. Clip it to your backpack or keep it in a pocket.
One size fits most adults.
Choose yellow, green or black. Yellow is easy to see on the road.
For festivals, walks and bike rides. Let the poncho dry fully before you pack it away.
For every day, see the Wolkendek rain jackets.
