Description
Rain boots are only as good as their rubber. These boots are made of natural rubber, which behaves very differently from cheap plastic boots.
Natural rubber stays soft and flexible, also in frost. Cheap boots go stiff in the cold. Every step bends them at the ankle, and after a season they crack there. These keep bending without breaking.
The boots reach to mid-calf. That is high enough for wet grass, deep puddles and a muddy field, and low enough to walk in comfortably.
Inside is a cotton lining. Your feet sweat in rubber boots, because no air gets through. The cotton absorbs that moisture, so your socks stay drier.
The sole has a deep tread. It grips in mud and on wet grass, and it doesn’t fill up with clay as quickly as a shallow tread.
The color is olive green, a calm color that suits a garden, a farm or a walk in the woods.
This pair is size 39. Rain boots don’t stretch, so if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one and wear thick socks.
Rinse off mud after use and let the boots dry upside down.
