Description
Wooden blocks are one of the oldest toys and one of the best. Children build, knock down and build again. In doing so, they learn about shapes, balance and size.
The Kriebelbeest block set has 100 blocks of beech wood. Beech is hard, so the blocks don’t dent or splinter when they fall.
The blocks come in six shapes: cubes, long bricks, cylinders, triangles, arches and half circles. They are painted in four colors.
The paint is water-based and made from plant materials. Young children explore with their mouths. That is fine with these blocks.
All sizes are based on one basic measurement. Two small blocks are as long as one long block, and so on. That is why towers and bridges stand straight and stable. A tower of thirty centimeters stays up until a little hand knocks it down.
The blocks come in a cotton bag. At the end of the day, everything goes into the bag. A child can help tidy up.
From 1.5 years. Older children build castles, roads and cities with the same blocks for years.
The wooden train with tracks fits well with these blocks.
