Description
A ceiling light in a kitchen often lights the room but not the counter. When you stand at the counter, your body blocks the light, and you cut vegetables in your own shadow. An under-cabinet light solves that.
This LED bar mounts under a wall cabinet, near the front edge. The light shines straight down onto the counter. Nothing stands between the light and your work.
It is 60 centimeters long, the width of a standard kitchen cabinet. It gives 600 lumens of neutral white light. Neutral white shows the true colors of food, so you see if meat is cooked or fruit is ripe.
At one end is a touch sensor. Wave your hand under it, or touch it, to switch the light on or off. You don’t need to touch a switch with sticky or floury fingers.
The bar is slim, about one centimeter high, and hidden behind the front edge of the cabinet.
It mounts with two screws. A power cable with a plug comes with it. For a longer counter, link several bars together with the connecting cable.
Wipe it with a dry cloth.
The light also helps when you use the digital kitchen scale 5 kg or read a recipe.
