Description
A splinter in your eye is a trip to the doctor and sometimes worse. Safety glasses prevent it.
These glasses meet the European standard EN 166 for eye protection. The lenses are made of a tough plastic that stops flying chips of wood, stone and metal.
The sides are closed. Many accidents happen from the side, when a piece bounces off the workbench or a wall. The side shields stop that.
The lenses have a coating against scratches. Scratched glasses are hard to see through, and then people take them off. These stay clear for longer.
There is also a coating against fogging. When you work hard, your face gets warm and normal glasses steam up. These stay clear for about half an hour of work. If they do fog up, a short break is enough.
The glasses fit over ordinary glasses. You don’t need prescription safety glasses for a weekend job.
The arms adjust in length, so the glasses sit well on both small and large heads.
Wear them for sawing, drilling, grinding, mowing and hedge trimming. Add the ear defenders with headband for loud work.
