A radio in the kitchen makes cooking more pleasant. The Zonnewende kitchen radio gives you clear sound and simple controls.
It receives DAB+, digital radio. FM radio often crackles in a kitchen, because metal appliances and walls disturb the signal. DAB+ is digital, so it either plays clearly or not at all. There is no hiss.
There are ten presets. Save your favorite stations and switch between them with one press. You don’t need to search every time.
The display is large. You read the station and the time from a meter away, also with your hands full.
The radio has an alarm function. Use it as an alarm clock in a bedroom, or as a timer in the kitchen.
It runs on mains power or on batteries. Unplug it and take it to the shed, the garden or the garage. It plays on batteries for hours.
The color is cream, with rounded corners.
Place the radio away from the stove and the sink, so steam and water don’t reach it.
