Description
This is the little brother of the Veldhoek electric kettle 1.7 liter. It has the same build, the same flat base and the same automatic switch, but in a slimmer body that holds up to 1 liter.
It fits where a large kettle doesn’t: between a toaster and the wall, on a narrow shelf in a camper, or in the kitchenette of a holiday home. Half a liter boils in about two minutes at 1800 watt. That is enough for two large mugs of tea.
The kettle switches off by itself when the water boils. It also has a boil-dry protection: if you switch it on empty, it turns off before the element can overheat.
The lid opens with one press of a button, so you can fill it straight under the tap. The spout has a removable filter that catches flakes of limescale. Rinse the filter under the tap now and then.
The cord winds into the base. That keeps the counter tidy and makes the kettle easy to pack for a trip.
The matte black finish is easy to wipe clean and doesn’t show water spots.
