Description
A hopper ball is a large rubber ball with a handle. A child sits on it, holds the handle, and bounces across the floor or the garden. It is great fun, and it trains balance, leg strength and coordination.
This ball has a diameter of 45 centimeters. That fits children of about four to eight years. When the child sits on the ball, their feet should touch the ground with their knees slightly bent.
The rubber is thick. Thin balls are only for indoor use. This one can go outside on tiles and paving stones without getting a puncture from small stones.
The ball holds its air for weeks. When it gets soft, pump it up with the pump that comes with it.
Inflate it to the right size, but not harder. A ball that is too hard is difficult to control. A ball that is a little softer bounces more gently.
Let children play on a flat surface, away from stairs, roads and sharp objects.
Clean the ball with a damp cloth and soap.
For ages 4 to 8.
