Description
Much garden work happens on your knees: weeding between plants, planting bulbs, sowing, and working with a hand hoe or a trowel. After half an hour on hard ground, your knees feel it. A kneeling pad helps.
This pad is made of firm foam, three centimeters thick. It spreads your weight, so stones and roots don’t press into your knees. It is firm enough not to flatten under you.
The foam is closed-cell, which means it doesn’t absorb water. You can kneel on wet grass or damp soil and your knees stay dry. After work, rinse it under the tap or wipe it clean.
The pad measures 45 by 30 centimeters. That is wide enough for both knees and small enough to move along a border.
A handle is cut into one end. Pick it up with one hand and move it to the next spot.
The pad is also useful in the house: when you clean the bathroom floor, wash the car, or work under a sink.
Store it out of direct sunlight, which can make foam brittle over time.
Good with the hand hoe with ash handle and the garden trowel with ash handle.
