Description
Farmyard Swap is the small, quick card version of the board game Farmyard Gang. It is about the same farm animals and the same idea: trading. But it plays in ten to fifteen minutes and fits in a coat pocket.
The game has 72 cards with farm animals. Each player gets a hand of cards. The goal is to collect three complete sets of four animals of the same kind.
On your turn, you ask another player for an animal. “Do you have a pig?” If they do, they must give it to you, and you get another turn. If not, you draw a card from the pile. Watch carefully what the others ask for, so you know who collects what.
There are also special cards. The fox steals an animal from another player. The fence protects your animals from the fox.
The first player with three complete sets wins.
The game is for 2 to 6 players, from 6 years. Children practice asking, remembering and counting.
The cards are made of thick card with a smooth finish.
The small box is easy to take along on holiday, on a train or to a restaurant.
