Description
The Duinhof wine set “Sunset” brings four tools together in a box of solid ash wood.
The waiter’s corkscrew is the kind you see behind the bar in a café. It has a two-step lever. First you pull the cork halfway with the first step, then the rest with the second. Because the lever moves twice, even a long cork from an older bottle comes out straight and in one piece. The small knife in the handle cuts the foil.
The separate foil cutter is quicker still. Put it on top of the bottle, squeeze and turn, and the foil comes off in a clean ring.
The pouring spout fits into the neck of the bottle. It pours a steady stream and cuts it off cleanly, so no drop runs down the label onto your tablecloth.
The vacuum stopper pumps air out of an open bottle. Less air means the wine stays fresh for about two days.
The lid of the box has the word “Cheers” burned into the wood. The box has a fitted spot for each tool, so you always see when one is missing.
A good match for the wine glasses, set of 6, also by Duinhof.
