Description
Foggy goggles are the most common complaint of swimmers. These goggles have a coating on the inside of the lenses that keeps them clear.
Fog forms when the warm air around your eyes meets the cold lens. The anti-fog coating spreads those tiny drops into a thin, clear film. You keep a clear view for about fifty lengths. After that, rinse the goggles in the pool water and they are clear again.
Never rub the inside of the lenses with your fingers or a towel. That wipes off the coating. Rinse them with clean water and let them dry in the air.
Around each lens is a soft silicone seal. It closes around your eye socket and keeps the water out. Silicone is gentle on your skin. You don’t get the deep red rings around your eyes that hard plastic goggles leave.
The strap adjusts with two clips at the back. Pull the strap through until the goggles sit snug but don’t press.
The lenses have a light blue tint. It reduces glare from bright pool lights and sunlight on outdoor water.
Combine them with the silicone swim cap.
