Description
Tires with the right pressure ride lighter, last longer and get fewer flats. A floor pump with a gauge makes it easy to get the pressure right.
The gauge is large and sits near the base. You read it while you stand and pump, without bending down. It shows up to 11 bar. That covers city bikes, trekking bikes and road bikes.
The right pressure is printed on the side of your tire. City bike tires often need 3 to 5 bar. Road bike tires need more, often 6 to 8.
The pump head fits two common valve types: the thin Presta valve and the classic Dutch valve. You don’t need an adapter. Push the head onto the valve, flip the lever, and pump.
The pump is made of steel. It is sturdy and lasts for years. The handle is wide and comfortable for two hands.
The base is wide and flat. Put your feet on both sides and pump. The pump stays upright, also when you push hard toward the end.
Check your tires every two weeks. Air slowly escapes, even without a puncture.
