Description
When the days get cold, warm feet make all the difference. These wool socks are thick, soft and made for daily use.
The yarn is a blend of wool with a small amount of nylon. Wool keeps your feet warm and absorbs moisture, so they stay dry. Nylon makes the socks stronger, especially at the heel and the toe, where socks wear through first.
These socks are thicker than our hiking socks. The hiking socks are made for long walks in shoes. These are made for cold days: inside on a cold floor, in boots or rain boots, or in bed on a winter night.
You get three pairs in one color, gray melange. With three identical pairs, you never have a single sock left over.
Choose your size: 35-38, 39-42 or 43-46.
Wash the socks at thirty degrees on a wool program, inside out. Don’t put them in the dryer. Heat makes wool shrink.
Keep them in pairs with a laundry bag for delicates, so they come out of the machine together.
For walking, choose the merino hiking socks, 2 pairs. For warm feet at home, also see the slippers with wool lining.
