Description
The Wolkendek women’s rain jacket is made for real rain, the kind that lasts all day.
The fabric is waterproof up to 8000 millimeters of water column. That number tells you how much water pressure the fabric can take before it lets water through. Eight thousand is enough for a long ride on a bike in heavy rain. Our blog has a full explanation of water column.
Water can also come in through the stitches of a seam. That is why every seam is taped on the inside. A thin strip of waterproof tape covers each line of stitching.
When you cycle or walk fast, you get warm. Under each arm is a zip. Open them, and warm air escapes. You stay dry from the rain and from the inside.
The hood has a stiff brim. It keeps the rain off your face and doesn’t fold down in the wind. When the sun comes out, roll the hood into the collar.
The jacket is long. It covers your hips and the top of your legs when you sit on a bike.
The same jacket comes in yellow: the women’s rain jacket, yellow.
