Description

A wooden crate is one of the most flexible pieces of storage there is. It can be a box, a shelf, a display or a seat.

This crate is made of pine wood. Pine is light, strong and has a warm, natural look. The wood is untreated. Leave it natural, oil it, or paint it in a color that suits your room.

It measures 40 by 30 centimeters and is 24 centimeters high.

The sides are made of slats with small gaps. Air flows through, so it is good for vegetables, fruit or firewood.

The short sides have cut-out handles. Carry the crate from the shed to the fireplace, or from the car to the kitchen.

Ideas:
– on the floor, for toys or shoes,
– in the kitchen, for potatoes, onions or apples,
– next to the fireplace, for firewood,
– on its side, as a small shelf for books or plants,
– stacked in twos or threes, as a low bookcase,
– in the shed, for garden tools and gloves.

The crate carries a lot, but don’t stand on it.

Sand rough edges with fine sandpaper if needed.

For storage with a lid, see the Kistwerk storage boxes with lid. For the garden shed, see the garage wall rack for garden tools.
