Description
Round baskets look nice on the floor. On a shelf or in a cupboard, rectangular baskets fit better: they stand side by side without wasted space. This seagrass basket is rectangular.
It is woven from seagrass, the same natural material as the seagrass laundry basket. Seagrass is stiff and sturdy. The basket keeps its shape, also when it is full.
It has two handles on the short sides, woven into the basket. Pull it off a shelf by the handles.
Choose from three sizes:
– S, 25 by 18 centimeters and 15 high, for small things on a shelf or in a bathroom,
– M, 35 by 25 centimeters and 20 high, for towels, toys or magazines,
– L, 45 by 30 centimeters and 25 high, for blankets, shoes or larger toys.
Use several baskets on the shelves of the bookcase with 5 shelves, for a calm, organized look. Use one in the hallway for hats and gloves, or under a bench for shoes.
The color is natural seagrass, a light, warm brown.
Vacuum the baskets now and then. Seagrass doesn’t like to stay wet, so don’t use them for wet towels.
