Description
This is the Wolkendek women’s rain jacket in bright yellow. It has the same waterproof fabric of 8000 millimeters water column, the same taped seams, the same zips under the arms and the same hood with a stiff brim.
The difference is visibility. Rain often comes with gray skies and early darkness. On a bike or on foot, you want other people to see you. Bright yellow stands out against wet asphalt and gray buildings, also in the daytime.
At night, the reflective tape does the work. Strips on the back and on both sleeves reflect the headlights of cars. Drivers see you from a long way off, and they see your arm when you signal a turn.
The cut is loose enough to wear a thick sweater or a fleece underneath. That makes it a jacket for autumn and winter, not only for summer showers.
The hood rolls away into the collar when you don’t need it.
Wash the jacket at thirty degrees, without fabric softener. Softener can damage the water-repellent layer.
