Description
A rope toy is one of the simplest and most loved dog toys. This one is made of thick cotton rope, knotted at both ends.
Use it for tug-of-war. Hold one end, let your dog take the other, and pull gently. Tug-of-war is good exercise and a great way to bond. Let your dog win now and then.
Use it for fetch. The knots give it weight, so it flies well, and it is soft enough not to hurt your dog’s mouth.
Use it for chewing. When a dog chews on cotton rope, the fibers rub along the teeth and help remove food and plaque. It isn’t a replacement for brushing, but it helps.
The rope is 35 centimeters long and thick enough for medium and large dogs. For very small dogs, it may be too large.
Always supervise play. If your dog tears off and swallows strands of rope, take the toy away. Replace it when it starts to fall apart.
The toy goes into the washing machine at forty degrees. Let it dry fully before you give it back.
For fetch with a bounce, see the rubber dog balls, 2 pieces.
