String lights turn a garden into a place to stay after sunset. This set gives you ten meters of warm light.
There are fifteen round bulbs on a black cable, spaced evenly. The bulbs are frosted, so the light is soft and doesn’t glare in your eyes. They are LED, so they use very little power and stay cool.
The light is warm white, cozy and relaxed, like old-fashioned party lights.
The string is weatherproof to IP44. Rain and splashes are no problem. You can leave it outside for the whole summer.
It runs on mains power through an outdoor-safe plug with a long lead. Unlike solar lights, it doesn’t depend on a sunny day.
A timer is built into the plug. Switch it on at the time you want, and it keeps the lights on for six hours, then turns them off. The next evening, it turns them on again at the same time.
Hang the string along a fence, over a pergola, around a parasol, or in loops between two trees. Use hooks or cable ties.
