Description
A wall shelf adds storage without taking up floor space. This oak shelf adds a warm, natural detail at the same time.
It is made of solid oak, 2.5 centimeters thick. Solid wood is strong and beautiful, with a grain that is different on every shelf.
The brackets are hidden. Two steel rods screw into the wall, and the shelf slides onto them through holes in the back. When it hangs, you see only the wood. It seems to float on the wall.
The shelf is 60 centimeters wide and 20 centimeters deep. It carries up to 15 kilos, enough for a row of books, a few plants, or a collection of photo frames.
Good places:
– above a desk, for books and files,
– in the kitchen, for spices, oil and cookbooks,
– in a hallway, for keys and a small plant,
– in a bathroom, for towels and a candle, if the room has good airflow.
Mounting materials for a solid wall are included. For drywall, screw into a stud; the stud finder shows you where.
Use the spirit level 60 cm or the cross line laser with tripod to hang it straight.
Dust the shelf with a dry cloth. Treat the wood with a little oil once a year.
