Description
Not every lamp uses the large E27 fitting. Chandeliers, wall lamps, small bedside lamps and some pendant lamps use the narrower E14 fitting. These candle bulbs are made for them.
The fitting is E14. The number tells you the diameter of the screw thread in millimeters: 14 millimeters, compared with 27 for the larger E27. Check the old bulb or the label inside the lamp before you buy.
Each bulb gives 470 lumens. That is as much light as an old 40 watt bulb, for only 4 watt of power.
The shape is a candle: narrow at the bottom, pointed at the top. It looks good in a chandelier or a wall lamp where the bulb is visible.
The light is warm white, 2700 Kelvin. It gives a cozy, golden glow, like candlelight.
The glass is clear, with thin LED filaments inside that look like a classic bulb.
The bulbs last about 15,000 hours.
They are not dimmable.
You get three bulbs in a pack. A chandelier with three or five arms is quickly fitted.
For lamps with a large fitting, choose the LED bulb E27, warm white, 3 pieces. For colored light, see the Zonnewende smart LED bulb E27.
