Description
Ironing goes faster on a good board. This one measures 120 by 38 centimeters, large enough for a shirt or a pillowcase without moving it too often.
The top is perforated. Steam from the iron passes through the holes and escapes underneath. On a board with a closed top, the steam stays in the fabric, and you need to iron the same spot twice to get it dry. Here the trousers are crisp and dry after one pass.
The height adjusts to suit you. Stand straight with the board at hip height, so your back doesn’t bend. Or set it lower and sit on a chair while you iron.
The cover is gray melange cotton with a layer of foam underneath. It is held in place by a drawstring and can be replaced when it wears out.
At the end of the board there is a rest for your iron. The iron can stand there while you rearrange the clothes, without touching the cover.
Folded, the board is only eight centimeters thick. It fits behind a door or next to a cupboard.
Made for irons like the Veldhoek steam iron 2400 watt.
