Description
Watering houseplants with a large garden can is clumsy. This 5-liter can has the same shape as the green 10-liter can, at half the size.
The spout is long and narrow. You slide it between the leaves of a fern or under the leaves of a plant on the windowsill, and pour the water directly onto the soil. The leaves stay dry, which helps against mold and spots.
Full, the can weighs about five kilos. You lift it with one hand and pour with control.
It fits under an ordinary kitchen tap. You don’t need to fill it in the bathtub or outside.
The color is anthracite, a dark gray that looks calm in a living room. You can leave it standing next to your plants.
Tip: fill the can after watering and let it stand. The next time, the water is at room temperature. Cold water from the tap can shock tropical houseplants.
Pots to go with it: the terracotta plant pots of 20 cm and 30 cm.
