Description
Some jobs are too rough for garden gloves. Carrying firewood, stacking bricks, clearing out a shed or handling rough timber needs a glove with a tough palm. These leather work gloves give that protection.
The palm and the fingertips are made of cowhide leather. Leather is tough and resists splinters, rough stone and sharp metal edges. It also gives a good grip on wood and tools.
The back of the glove is cotton. It lets air through, so your hands don’t get too hot during heavy work.
The cuff is a wide safety cuff. It protects your wrist from scratches and splinters. Because it is loose, you can pull the glove off quickly, in one movement.
Leather becomes softer with use and shapes itself to your hand. After a few days of work, the gloves feel like they were made for you.
They come in three sizes: M, L and XL. Choose a glove that fits snugly but lets you make a fist.
Leather doesn’t like the washing machine. Brush off dirt and let wet gloves dry slowly at room temperature, not on a heater.
For gardening, the garden gloves in size M or L are lighter. For work with tools, add the clear safety glasses.
