Description
A steam mop cleans floors with water vapor. The hot steam loosens dried spills and grease, and the microfiber pad picks them up. You don’t need soap, and the floor dries within minutes.
The Veldhoek steam mop heats up in about thirty seconds. Fill the tank with 350 milliliters of water, switch it on, and wait for the light. Then push the mop over the floor like a normal mop.
A full tank cleans about sixty square meters. That covers a kitchen, a hallway and a bathroom.
You can set the amount of steam. Use less steam on vinyl and sealed wood. Use more on tiles and in the bathroom.
Two microfiber pads come with it. When one is dirty, swap it for the other. Wash the pads at sixty degrees.
A steam mop is suitable for tiles, vinyl, linoleum and sealed wood or laminate. Don’t use it on unsealed wood, waxed floors or carpet. Heat and moisture can damage them.
Use distilled water in areas with hard water, to prevent scale.
Vacuum the floor first, so loose dirt doesn’t get pushed around.
For everyday mopping without power, see the flat mop with microfiber cover.
