Description
The Veldhoek steam iron has 2400 watt. It heats up fast and keeps its temperature, also when you iron a pile of shirts in one go.
The soleplate is ceramic. Ceramic glides smoothly over cotton, linen and synthetic fabrics, and it doesn’t stick to them. It spreads the heat evenly, so there are no hot spots that leave a shine on dark trousers.
For normal ironing, the iron gives a steady flow of steam. For stubborn creases, press the steam burst button. It pushes out 150 grams of steam per minute. The steam goes deep into the fabric and relaxes the fibers, so a crease comes out without the fabric getting wet.
You can also iron vertically. Hold the iron close to a hanging jacket or a curtain, press the steam burst, and the creases fall out.
Hard water leaves scale in an iron. This one has an anti-scale rod that catches lime. Take it out once a month and rinse it under the tap.
The iron stands steady on its heel. It switches off by itself if you leave it standing for too long.
A good match for the ironing board 120 x 38 cm.
