Description
In football, kicks to the shin are part of the game. Shin guards turn a painful kick into a small knock.
The front of each guard is a hard shell. When a boot hits it, the shell spreads the force across the whole shin instead of one small spot. That makes a big difference in how much it hurts and in the risk of injury.
On the inside is a layer of foam. It sits against your leg and adds cushioning. It also makes the guard comfortable to wear for a whole match.
The guard is attached to a sock sleeve. Pull it on like a sock, and the guard stays in place while you run. Your football sock goes over it.
At the bottom are ankle flaps. They protect the bone on each side of your ankle, which often gets kicked in a tackle. Some players prefer more freedom of movement. The flaps can be removed, and the shell stays.
The guards are light, so you don’t feel them after a few minutes.
Size M fits most youth players and adults with a smaller build.
Wash the sock sleeve at thirty degrees and wipe the shell clean.
