Description
Every trip down a ladder for a screw costs time and energy. A tool belt keeps everything you need on your hip.
This belt is made of thick cowhide. Good leather is stiff at first and then shapes itself to your body. After a few days, it fits like it was made for you. It doesn’t sag when the pouches are full of nails and screws.
There are two large pouches with smaller pockets inside. Keep nails in one, screws in the other, and a pencil, a utility knife and a chisel in the small pockets.
The hammer loop sits on the right side. The clip for a tape measure is on the left. Both can be moved along the belt. If you are left-handed, swap them around.
The belt adjusts from 80 to 130 centimeters, so it fits most waists, also over a thick winter jacket.
Clean the leather now and then with a damp cloth. Once a year, rub in a little leather balm to keep it supple.
It goes well with the work trousers with knee pockets, which have their own loops for tools.
