Description
Light and scent change the mood of a room. A scented candle gives you both.
This candle is made of plant wax. Plant wax burns slowly and cleanly, with less soot than paraffin.
The wick is cotton. It burns evenly and doesn’t give off black smoke when you trim it properly.
The candle burns for about forty hours. That is many evenings of soft light and scent.
Choose from three scents:
– fig and cedar, warm and woody, for autumn evenings,
– fresh linen, light and clean, for a bedroom or a bathroom,
– amber and vanilla, sweet and cozy, for winter.
For the best result, let the candle burn the first time until the whole top has melted, about two hours. If you blow it out earlier, it burns a tunnel and wastes wax.
Trim the wick to about half a centimeter before you light it. Never leave a burning candle alone, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.
The jar is frosted glass. When the candle is finished, clean out the last wax with hot water. The glass makes a nice holder for pens, cotton pads or a small plant.
For flame-free light, see the LED candles, set of 3.
