Description
A rattan lamp brings a piece of nature indoors. When the lamp is on, light shines through the open weave and draws a soft pattern of lines and shadows on the walls and ceiling.
The shade is woven by hand from rattan, a climbing palm with strong, flexible stems. Every lamp is slightly different.
Rattan is light, so the lamp doesn’t need a heavy fixture. It hangs from a black fabric cord of 150 centimeters. Shorten the cord to the height you want. Above a dining table, the bottom of the shade usually hangs 60 to 70 centimeters above the table.
Choose from two sizes. The 35 centimeter lamp suits a small dining table, a bedroom or a hallway. The 45 centimeter lamp suits a large table or a living room.
The fitting is E27. Use a warm white LED bulb. A bulb of 806 lumens gives a cozy light. For a dining table, choose brighter. The LED bulb E27, warm white, 3 pieces, fits.
A ceiling cup and mounting materials are included. Have the lamp connected by someone who knows how. Always switch off the power first.
Dust the shade with a soft brush.
