Description
The charcoal barbecue 45 cm gives a smoky flavor, but you need to light it half an hour before you cook. This tabletop gas barbecue is ready in five minutes.
It runs on a standard gas cartridge, the same kind as a camping stove. Click the cartridge in, turn the knob, and press the ignition button. The burner lights at once.
The knob controls the flame. Turn it up for steaks and burgers, down for vegetables and fish. With gas, you change the heat in seconds. With charcoal, you have to wait.
The grill grate is cast iron. Cast iron holds heat and gives clear grill marks. Oil it lightly before use, so food doesn’t stick.
The grill surface is 40 by 28 centimeters. That is enough for four burgers and some vegetables.
The lid keeps the heat in. With the lid closed, chicken legs and thick fish cook through evenly.
The legs fold under the barbecue. It fits in the trunk of a car or on a small balcony. Check the rules of your building or campsite first.
Under the grill is a drip tray for fat. Empty it after cooking.
