A good photo deserves a good frame. This one is made of solid oak.
Many frames are made of particleboard with a thin layer of wood on top, called veneer. The corners of those frames open up over time, and chips break off. This frame is solid oak all the way through. The corners stay tight and the wood stays beautiful.
The frame measures 30 by 40 centimeters on the outside. Inside is a mat, a white board with an opening for a photo of 20 by 30 centimeters. The mat gives the photo space around it, which makes it look calmer and more important.
The mat is acid-free. Normal cardboard contains acid that slowly turns photos yellow. An acid-free mat keeps your photo as it is for many years.
You can hang the frame in portrait or landscape format. There are hooks on the back for both.
You can also stand it on a cabinet or a shelf. A stand folds out from the back.
The front is glass. Clean it with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
