Description
Dominoes is a game for every age. Young children practice counting and matching. Adults play for strategy. And everyone enjoys setting up a long row and watching it fall.
This set has 28 tiles, the standard double-six set. Each tile has two halves with zero to six dots.
The tiles are made of bamboo. Bamboo is hard and heavy for its size. The tiles feel solid in your hand and make a pleasant click on the table. They are heavy enough to stand upright on their short edge, so you can build long rows that fall one after the other.
The dots are inlaid in the wood, not printed on top. Printed dots wear off after a few years of play. Inlaid dots stay.
The game is simple. Each player gets a number of tiles. In turn, you place a tile that matches the number on one end of the line on the table. The first player who uses up all their tiles wins.
The tiles come in a tin box. The lid clamps on firmly, so it doesn’t open in a bag. Every tile goes back in the tin, and you never lose one.
