Description
Cold floors make cold feet. These slippers keep your feet warm all evening.
The lining is made of new wool. Wool insulates well: it holds warm air close to your feet. It also absorbs moisture. Your feet sweat a little, even when you sit still. The wool takes that up, so your feet stay dry and don’t start to smell.
The sole is rubber and thick. Most slippers have a thin, soft sole that gets wet and dirty outside. These are sturdy enough to step out to take the bin to the curb, get the mail, or fetch something from the car.
The back of the slipper can fold down. Folded down, it becomes a slip-on: you step into it without using your hands. Folded up, it holds your heel and stays on your foot on the stairs.
The slippers come in sizes 36 to 46.
To freshen the wool, air the slippers by an open window. To clean them, brush off dust and wipe the sole with a damp cloth.
Pair them with the women’s flannel pajamas or the terry bathrobe, size M.
