Description
A chair is not a ladder. For changing a bulb, cleaning the top of a cupboard or hanging curtains, a household step ladder is safer and more stable.
This ladder has three steps. The top step is wide and deep. You stand on it with both feet, side by side, and you keep your balance while you hold a lamp or a curtain rod above your head.
At hip height there is a rail. Lean against it lightly, and you feel steady. Hang a paint can or a bucket from it, so you don’t need to climb down for every brushful.
The steps are ribbed and don’t slip. The feet have rubber caps that grip the floor and protect it.
The ladder carries up to 150 kilos.
Folded, it is only ten centimeters thick. It fits next to a cupboard, behind a door, or in a narrow gap in the shed.
Always open the ladder fully and check that the lock is engaged before you climb. Face the ladder when you go up and down.
