Description
Most jobs at home need a hole in one of three materials: wood, stone or metal. Each material needs its own drill bit. This set has all three, in the sizes you use most.
Wood bits have a sharp point in the center. The point holds the bit in place, so it doesn’t wander, and the hole is clean.
Masonry bits have a hard tip, wider than the shaft. They drill into brick, concrete and plaster. Use them for wall plugs when you hang a shelf or a curtain rail.
Metal bits are made of high-speed steel. They drill into thin steel, aluminum and plastic. Use a little oil and a low speed for the best result.
The set also has screwdriver bits in all common types, a few sockets for nuts, and a magnetic bit holder that clicks into any drill.
Every piece has its own spot in the case, sorted by type and size. When you open it, you see at once which bit is missing.
The case is compact and fits in the case of the Hoogmaat cordless drill 18 volt.
