Description
A bookcase is storage and decoration at once. This open bookcase holds a full library, or a mix of books, plants, boxes and personal things.
It is 80 centimeters wide, 30 centimeters deep and 180 centimeters high. It has five shelves.
The shelves are 30 centimeters deep. That fits most books, folders and boxes. Each shelf carries up to 20 kilos.
The bookcase is made of board with an oak veneer. Veneer is a thin layer of real oak. It gives the bookcase the look and the warmth of real wood, at a lower weight and price than solid oak.
An anchor strap comes with it. Screw it into the wall behind the bookcase. A tall bookcase can tip over when a child climbs on it or when the top shelves are heavy. The strap stops that. Always use it.
Assembly takes about an hour. All screws and a hex key are included.
Tips for a good look: put heavy things on the bottom shelves and light things on the top. Mix rows of books with a basket, a plant or a frame. Leave some empty space.
On the bottom shelves, the cotton rope storage baskets hide toys or magazines. A Kistwerk oak wall shelf 60 cm above a desk goes well with it.
