Walking to the bathroom at night, you don’t want a bright light, but you also don’t want to stumble. These night lights give a soft light only when you need it.
Each light has a motion sensor. When you walk past in the dark, it switches on. Twenty seconds after you’ve passed, it switches off again. During the day, a light sensor keeps it off, so the batteries last longer.
The light is soft and warm. It shows you the way without waking you up fully.
You get two lights. Good places are:
– on the stairs, at the top and bottom,
– in the hallway between the bedroom and the bathroom,
– in a child’s room,
– inside a wardrobe or a kitchen cupboard.
Each light comes with a metal plate with a sticker on the back. Stick the plate to the wall. The light holds on to it by a magnet. Lift it off to change the batteries, and click it back.
Each light runs on three AAA batteries. Rechargeable batteries work well; see the battery charger with 4 AA batteries, which also charges AAA.
No drilling, no cables.
