Your face, ears and neck get the most sun and burn first. A wide-brim hat shades all three.
The brim of this hat is eight centimeters wide all the way around. It shades your forehead and eyes, your ears, and the back of your neck. A cap leaves your ears and neck in the sun.
The hat is made of cotton. Cotton breathes, so your head doesn’t get too hot under it. The color is a light sand. Light colors reflect sunlight and stay cooler than dark ones.
A chin cord is attached. On a windy beach, on a boat or on a bike, pull the cord under your chin, and the hat stays on. When you don’t need it, let it hang at the back.
The hat is soft. You can fold it or roll it into a bag. Take it out, shake it, and it returns to its shape.
Choose size S/M or L/XL. Measure around your head just above your ears. Up to 57 centimeters, S/M fits. Above that, choose L/XL.
Wash by hand in cool water and let it dry in shape.
Good for gardening, a walk, a day at the beach or a picnic. Add sunscreen for the rest of your skin.
